About the apprenticeship
We are looking to train an apprentice print finisher up to NVQ level 2 and 3. The right candidate will shadow and work beside our highly skilled and experienced finishers turning printed material into books, booklets, leaflets and lots of other products.
Full training will be given on the job. You will be supported by the qualification provider with a structured course leading to a nationally recognised qualification.
Apprenticeship duration: Level 2, 18-24 months; Level 3, 24-36 months.
On successful completion of the apprenticeship programme a full-time position will be offered, when you have proved your ability to fulfil the job role at a satisfactory level.
During the apprenticeship there maybe the opportunity for paid overtime work.
This role will include operating a range of machinery, finishing by hand, working in a team to short deadlines, some physical lifting and carrying, and taking responsibility for the maintenance of a safe working environment.

- A mechanically minded, ‘hands on’ approach would be advantageous.
